    It’s Time to Breakout
Have you ever felt like you had “hit the wall?” You know what I mean—your income reaches a certain level, but then it doesn’t seem to go any higher. Maybe you set some physical fitness goals, and you’ve achieved some success, but you are stuck. Perhaps your church or ministry has hit a plateau in one or more areas. I have a message from the Lord for you: This is a breakout year! You will move forward! It’s time for you to break out of anything that has been limiting you!

God wants you and those you lead to be successful and well. 3 John verse 2 says, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. The word prosper that is used there means successful; the word health means be whole. God’s desire is that you lack nothing in any realm of life-physical, spiritual, or mental/emotional.

I recently shared an important message with the ministers who attended our Ministerial Leadership Conference, and I want to include you in the same conversation. I Timothy 6:12 tells us that we need to fight the good fight of faith, and leaders are frontrunners in that battle. I’ve participated in the fight for many years, and I have some valuable insights for you about what the fight of faith entails.

Every leader has been there—face to face with a situation or a circumstance that requires us to get direction and do something— but we don’t know what to do! I’m talking about real “brain stumpers”— problems that seem to have no logical, immediate answer. When the situation involves your ministry, then your congregation, partners and employees are all looking to you for clarity and direction. You feel the pressure as the leader. What should you do when you need direction because you don’t know what to do?

Is your ministry open to the glory of God? I hope that your immediate response was, “Of course!” However, have you taken the time to study the glory of God? Do you understand what it is? What can you do to open the door for its place in your church services?

    Definition of the Glory

Inherent in leadership is work. My church is named, “Word of Faith,” but those who are familiar with what we do in the ministry often jokingly refer to it as, “Work of Faith.” There is labor involved in doing God’s will, but God has given us a servant to assist.

Faith-Work it up or Work for you?
Religious people may say that faith is “something you work up,” but the Bible tells us that faith is something that works for you. Observe the allegory Jesus used to describe faith in Luke 17:6-10.
